Play Like a Pioneer: Welcome Spring at Van Hoosen Farm

It's the annual "Spring on the Farm" day at the Rochester Hills Museum at Van Hoosen Farm.

The will bring their popular Pioneer Homestead and Playground to the Farm today for the annual "Spring on the Farm" event.

Here are 10 things you can do today at the farm:

  1. Take a hay wagon ride
  2. Hang with farm animals
  3. Use a scrub board to do laundry
  4. Make a corn cob doll
  5. Hunt for eggs in a haystack
  6. Play on stilts
  7. Bowl with rutabagas
  8. Make music on a music tree
  9. Go fishing
  10. Wander through the childrens' garden

Spring on the Farm is $7 a person; the event is from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the museum.
