Photo of the Day: Avon Bridge Coming Along
The supports are in place on this bridge being rebuilt over the Clinton River in Rochester Hills.
The Avon Bridge, torn apart in February, is starting to be put back together again in Rochester Hills.
The bridge project is the result of advanced deterioration of the bridge discovered in an inspection last year. Avon Road has been closed to traffic for three months at the Livernois intersection; it is expected to reopen in June, at the same intersection begins.
