Part of Paint Creek Trail Closed Starting Tuesday

The trail will be 'severed' for four weeks for bridge repair work between Tienken and Dutton in Rochester Hills.

Before you head out to walk, bike or run between Rochester and Lake Orion, know that you might need to plan an alternate path.

Part of the Paint Creek Trail will be closed to through-traffic for four weeks starting Tuesday. The City of Rochester Hills will be making repairs to the three bridges between Tienken and Dutton Roads. Because the trail will be "severed," there is no detour for those who run or bike or walk on the trail — you will not be able to get through the work area.

The Trail will be severed for a total of four weeks and be closed to through-traffic. Please plan your trip accordingly. You will not be able get through the work area.

The Paint Creek Trail is 8.9 miles long. It travels from south of Ludlow Street in Rochester, near the , to Atwater Street in Lake Orion.
