Lights, Santa, Flash Mob: Christmas Comes to Rochester Hills
The Village tree-lighting ceremony includes a few surprises.

And when it's Christmas time? Well, the flash mob dancers wear Santa hats.
A flash mob, performed by dancers from the Rochester Hills-based , was among the highlights of the tree-lighting ceremony at the on Friday night.

It was the 10th year of the lighting ceremony at the outdoor shopping center; this one included 500,000 lights.
The night also included entertainment by Radio Disney, an appearance by radio personality Jay Towers and an official welcome for Santa, who will greet children on weekends until Christmas in the gazebo at the Village.
