  • The purpose of this race/walk is to raise awareness and money to fund Angiosarcoma research. The race was set up by Ryan Humphrey, an Athens graduate who now suffers from Angiosarcoma.

I'm pretty sure the carnival isn't free. Typically you buy an all-day wrist band for $20. Also, it goes all weekend, not just Friday.
