Historical Homes Recognized, OPC Budget Update Tonight in Rochester

Rochester City Council meets at 7:30 tonight.

The Historical Commission will present plaques to owners of historical properties in Rochester at tonight's Rochester City Council meeting.

The meeting begins at 7:30 p.m. at and is open to the public.

Councilmembers will also receive an update on the 2012 budget for the . The budget has been in limbo since fall, when Rochester City Council voted not to adopt it, citing personnel raises and other concerns.

  • Consider a special event application for a Rail Jam event to coincide with the in downtown Rochester on Jan. 27-29.
