Find Fresh Thanksgiving Dinner Ingredients at OU Farmers Market

The Student Organic Farmers are hosting a sale of organic produce grown right on the Oakland University campus.

Who says it's too late for a farmers market? The Student Organic Farmers on the campus of Oakland University are hosting a fresh produce and baked good sale this week on campus.

Squash, salad greens and even fresh-baked pumpkin pies will be for sale to the public at the sale, which is a fundraiser for the organization.

It's all happening from 10 a.m.-1 p.m. Wednesday at South Foundation Hall on the campus.

"All of our produce is grown organically on campus, and all of the baked goods will feature organic ingredients and ingredients sourced from local farms," stated a posting about the event on the organization's Facebook page.
