Enjoy The Weekend Autumn Sunshine: The Rain Returns Next Week

Here's a look at the weather forecast for Rochester and Rochester Hills.

An autumn rainbow? It was a sight to photograph, especially against a backdrop of fall leaves early Friday morning.

According to the National Weather Service, this morning's drizzle that caused the rainbow won't last: the weekend forecast calls for sun.

Enjoy it while you can; starting Sunday night, there's a chance of rain through at least Thursday next week.

Today and tonight: Sunny and breezy: high of 52; low of 37. Watch out — there may be areas of frost after 2 a.m.

Saturday: It may be frosty in the morning, but the high temperature is expected to be near 56 during the day (low of 43 at night). The sun will shine and the breeze will be slight.

Sunday: More sun, with a high near 61. The clouds will come in in the evening, and rain is in the forecast. Expect the low temperature to be around 46.

Next week: The long-range forecast shows a chance of rain every day.
