Downtown Business Owners: We Want to Talk to You!

As the Main Street Makeover steps it up a notch this week, we want to help you get the word out about the events and deals that will bring people downtown. Meet us Thursday at Fieldstone Winery to chat about it.

Main Street through most of downtown Rochester closes for about 12 weeks starting today. But that doesn't mean we all need to stop patronizing downtown.

In case you hadn't noticed, we love downtown Rochester (we just checked; in the past year Patch writers have posted 218 stories about downtown — that's a lot of love!)

So now is the time to let us help you keep it alive.

Rochester Patch is hosting a networking event for downtown business owners from 2 to 4 p.m. Thursday at . Stop by and tell Patch what's going on at your boutique, restaurant or business.

Having a special "construction" sale? Changing menus? Have new hours? Come tell us about it. In turn, we'll help you publicize your business news and show you how to use our free events calendar, directory and announcements to get the word out about what's happening in your shop.

Spread the word and see you Thursday!

I think that Paula Tutman forgot to mention all that is going on in downtown Rochester this weekend...Thursday: Girls Night Out & Deck Art 2012 Auction at the Fieldstone Winery; Friday: Deck Art 2012 (a skateboard art exhibit with over 100 artists participating in this downtown stroll where 25 businesses will display these unique pieces of artwork); Saturday: The Farmers Market, and The Ewe Review II. I hope that Channel 4 can be here this weekend!! Does this sound like a "disaster"?
