Dog Adopted From Rochester Hills is Named a Top 'Mutt:' We Want to See Yours!

"The View" features Lucy, a terrier mix adopted from the Michigan Humane Society.

A 3-year-old terrier mix adopted from Rochester Hills has been chosen as a top "mutt" by The View on ABC.

Lucy was among five dogs featured Friday as part of The View's fourth annual "Mutt Show." She was adopted two years ago by Beverly Larsen of Highland from the Michigan Humane Society Rochester Hills Center for Animal Care.

“When we got there (at MHS), it was late, and she was all the way down at the end – it was love at first sight!” Larsen said in a news release from the humane society.

“Now, two years later, we have a little celebrity in our midst! We’re so excited and happy. She brings so much love to our house and so much joy to our lives.”

The Mutt Show is The View’s answer to the Westminster Dog Show; the show focuses on shelter dogs and featured the top five dogs from thousands of online entries.
