Catch a Movie in the Moonlight in Rochester Tonight

'Puss & Boots' is showing on the big screen outdoors downtown.

Movies in the Moonlight, a popular summer event, returns to Rochester tonight.

The show starts at dusk in the Farmers' Market parking lot at East Third and Water streets. The preshow entertainment begins at 8:30 p.m.

The event is free, but guests are asked to bring along a non-perishable food donation for the .

Bring chairs and blankets, too; there are concessions for sale before and during the movie.

  • July 7: Captain America (PG-13)
  • July 14: Hugo (PG)
  • July 21: Dolphin Tale (PG)
  • July 28: The Help (PG-13)
  • Aug. 4: The Smurfs (PG)

A great way to enjoy family, friends and a movie! For a lot of us, it is just a pleasant walk into town-grab a burger and malt, and head to the "hill" for an entertaining evening.
