You asked, so we went back for some Dan Good Pizza.

When we asked our Patch Facebook friends where we should eat next, Dan Good Pizza was the most frequent suggestion. We heard you! So this Friday we're eating:

Takeout/deliver options: You can carry out or get your pie delivered. There's no dining area, but owner Dan Stackpoole just might do his killer Yoda impression while you wait.

Did you know? A large pizza from Dan's carries a full pound of cheese.

Fun facts: Dan offers a 7-inch square gluten-free pizza.

Dan Good's "The Gourmet" pizza placed 15th in the worldwide competition at the Pizza Expo in Las Vegas. The Gourmet has homemade pesto, sauce, roasted peppers, portobello mushrooms, gorgonzola cheese and tomatoes marinated in balsamic vinaigrette.

Known for the deep-dish, Chicago-style pizza, Dan Good has gone to the opposite extreme and introduced a thin and crispy pizza. It has half the carbs and half the fat of a traditional pie.

Dan Good Pizza is located at 816 N. Main, just north of Parkdale. They can be reached at 248-656-9998. Read our column about their Sweet BBQ Chicken pizza .
