Rochester Hills Hiring Park Attendants, Lifeguards, Engineers for Summer Work
It looks a lot like winter outside, but summer job opportunities are available at parks and other locations around the city.
From park attendants to lifeguards, the city of Rochester Hills is seeking seasonal employees for the summer months ahead.
Some of the opportunities include:
- Park attendants for Borden, Bloomer and Spencer parks. The job pays between $7.65-$8 per hour; duties include concession stand work, batting cage duties and customer service.
- Lawnmowers and landscapers. The job pays $8.25-$8.75 per hour; duties include lawn-mowing, tree maintenance and other work for the departments of Forestry and Public Service.
- Lifeguards for Spencer Park. The job pays between $8.75-$9.25 per hour. You must have Red Cross certification or equivalent to apply.
- Engineering assistant. The job pays between $9-$13 per hour; duties include traffic and land surveys in the city.
