Skeleton Gives Crittenton the Thumbs Up: Creepy Cool or Just Plain Creepy?

Here's a poll with a Halloween twist: What do you think of the hospital's sign?

We have to ask — it is, after all, the skeleton season.

Over the summer, the sign decorating the front of in Rochester Hills changed from a sleeping baby to two skeletal hands giving the "thumbs up" and "OK" signals.

The sign is a plug for the hospital's joint replacement center, which features top-ranked surgeons and leading-edge procedures like hip resurfacing.

Around town, we're all in the mood for skeletons and other Halloween things, so we can't help but wonder: What do you think of the sign?

Every time we pass the hospital we comment on how creepy those skeleton hands are. I hope it will be taken down after Halloween!

I think it's great! Don't know if it was a marketing strategy (w/Halloween), or an "uncanny coincidence"? Either way, it works. Maybe someone from Crittenton can tell us if it was planned?
