5 Treats to Sample in Town

Looking for something to satisfy your sweet tooth? Here are some treats that will make your tooth happy.

We have many options in town to get a sweet treat, but here are five that we think cannot be missed.

1. The Lexington

knows that sweet and salty is the way to a sweet tooth's heart. The Lexington cupcake is a ridiculously delicious combination of a chocolate cupcake with salted caramel filling and chocolate salted buttercream on top. Oh, yeah. It is as good as it sounds, $2.75.

2. Cream Puff

Cream Puffs are decadent enough, but then when you add vanilla ice cream, caramel and hot fudge into the mix, it takes it over the top. know how to make quality hot fudge and this killer combo is worth every insane calorie. Split with someone to ease the guilt.

3. Dip It

The folks at Capies Candies thought that taking gooey marshmallows, rolling it in caramel and then toasted pecans was a good idea. Then they had to go and dip it in dark chocolate. It is heaven on a stick. If nuts are not your thing, you can get them sans pecans.

4. Tres Bien

does have cupcakes. Yes, this is true. But the treat here that makes me weak in the knees are the french macaroons. What is macaroon, you ask? It is two airy meringue cookies made of egg whites that gently sandwich homemade buttercream and come in a bevy of different flavors. One of these beauties will only set you back $1.50.

5. Malt Me

was not built to look nostalgic, it is nostalgic. Grab a seat at the counter and order a chocolate malt. What you will receive is a tall glass full of the best malt you have ever tasted, along with the metal container it was mixed in, full of a second serving, all for $3.99.
