5 Things to Do Today In and Around Rochester

Climb inside a big truck

The  is open from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. on the corner of E. Third and Water streets in downtown Rochester. The vendor of the week this week is Choices Bath & Body of Ray, MI. The owners will be giving away free mini bath bombs and 20 percent off all products.

Watch Paddlepalooza

Kayaks and canoes will be racing down the Clinton River on Saturday morning in the annual . Watch the festivities as they kick off at Riverside Park in Auburn Hills — or as they end near the intersection of Avon and Livernois roads. The race begins at 8 a.m.

Visit a Flower Fair
