More Important Than it Seems

See why this weekend is actually the biggest weekend in recent years for our in-state teams.

As promised, here is my Michigan and Michigan State football previews for tomorrow.  What most people need to know is, although this is non-conference play for both teams, these games harbor HUGE implications moving forward.  Michigan is playing a less than average UConn Huskies, however, with more to prove than anybody, after the lackluster performance last week against Akron.  For Michigan State, it seems Connor Cook will be the go to guy at QB.... for now.  They have their first real test in South Bend tomorrow against the Notre Dame Fighting Irish.  The result of that game will either raise worries among the Spartan faithful, or re-imburse some confidence lost after the offensive struggles.

One of my favorite things to do is make score predictions; usually it is with my brothers at home, but now I can do it with all of you.  For Michigan, they will come out angry and ready to play after last weeks dismal performance.  Easy win at Connecticut, 35-17.  Michigan State, on the other hand, will find its hands full.  The Spartans are once again a top 5 defense that keeps their team in every game.  Will their offense betray them as they have in many recent games?  Actually, no.  Mark D'Antonio will have his squad firing on all cylinders for this classic rivalry, and it is going to be a good one.  Spartans win by a FG, 23-20.

Thanks for joining me guys.  My next post will come Monday morning with a review of the Lions game against RGIII and the Washington Redskins.  And as an added bonus, I will give you all some fantasy football tips for next week.  See you all later!
