Outdoor Dining Idea for Kruse and Muer

Perhaps an outdoor patio for Kruse and Muer on the alley side?

Outdoor dining is very popular in the summer in downtown Rochester.  Take a look at the deck at Paint Creek Tavern, the patio at Lime Light, the patio at Rochester Mills, the rear upper deck at Mr. B's or the patio at Penny Black.  They are all crowded all summer long.  The Main Street Makeover enhancements have limited the room for outdoor dining so many restaurants have looked to their rear entrances for outdoor dining options.  While walking around downtown on Saturday I noticed an area that I feel is being underutilized that would make a great outdoor dining spot for Kruse and Muer.  Behind Janet Varner and Plain and Fancy is a black top garden of sorts. It is my thought that if they were to lease the area to Kruse and Muer it would be a very popular spot all summer.  If they would get rid of the boxed in wood chips around the trees, rope the areas off and put clear Christmas lights in the trees it could be a very romantic spot in the evening as well.  It is nice that there are shade trees there since most of the outdoor dining spots don't have much shade.  What do you think?
