German Dance Exchange Students Need Housing !! URGENT!

URGENT !  WE  NEED A FEW MORE HOST FAMILIES FOR  VISIT TO ROCHESTER, MICHIGAN !  CAN YOU HELP?

Dear Friends in, and near Rochester, Michigan:

Due to several last minutes host family cancellations. . . and an emergency situation. . . . we are asking for your assistance!  As a part of our Blue Lake International Exchange Program, the DANCE CENTER NO. 1, from Augsburg, Germany IS PLANNING A VISIT to Rochester, Michigan.   Our local hosting chairlady, Dana Wright needs host families for members of this group, which arrives in Rochester tomorrow.  We are checking, once again, with our Friends that live in or near the Rochester area.  This is a wonderful opportunity to experience an international exchange right in your own hometown!  This group has hosted our own Blue Lake International Ballet in 2012, and many times in the past.

The commitment would entail taking a member or two of the dance group into your home for four days, making them part of the family, providing room and board, and making long lasting friendships!

The schedule is as follows:

Wednesday, August 7
12:00pm                   Arrive  Generation One Church, 110 Second St., Rochester, Michigan 48307.  
                                 Meet and go
                                 home with Host Families.
                                 Rest of day with host families.

Thursday,  August 8
10am – 12 noon      Class Time and Rehearsal at 2nd Street Studio of Dance, 100 East Second St., Rochester, Michigan 48307                               
Afternoon & Evening  Free time with Host Families.

Friday, August 9
10am – 12 noon       Class Time and Rehearsal at 2nd Street Studio of Dance, 100 East Second St., Rochester, Michigan 48307                               
Afternoon & Evening  Free time with Host Families.

Saturday, August 10
Morning & Early  Afternoon                    Free time with Host Families.

4:30pm                        Members arrive Stoney Creek High School, 575 E. Tienken, Rochester Hills, Michigan 48306

7:00pm                        Performance – Dance Center No. 1 at Stoney Creek High School Auditorium

8:30pm                                 Performance ends – home with host families for the evening.

Sunday, August 11
11:00am                      HOLIDAY COACH arrive at Generation One Church, 110 Second St., Rochester, Michigan 48307.  Members board bus and prepare to depart for
                                    Adrian, Michigan – with sack lunch provided by host family
