Happy Thanksgiving from Crittenton Home Care. During the coming season, eating healthy seems almost impossible as cookies and treats abound. But, thanks to our partners at Crittenton Hospital Medical Center’s Diabetes Education and Nutrition Counseling Center, we have a few recipes that will keep down the carbs, without cutting out taste. During this holiday season, we will feature Diabetes-Approved Recipes every month. If you have a favorite recipe, be sure to let us know. If you or a loved one have questions about managing your diabetes, we can assist through our Diabetic Care Program. Our staff can come to your home to check blood levels, set up a nutrition plan and assist in monitoring daily diet and medications.
