Highly recommend the Red Olive. Excellent wait staff with great food. Our Saturday morning destination.

I see that I have a lot of other places to try so I might make a more accurate decision!

Each place has their specialty - it is so hard to choose! Downtown Cafe for their amazing French Toast, Pauls for their coffee and overall good value, and Chomp for their Eggs Benedict!

If you haven't tried a Gold Star breakfast you should get out from under your rock. Gold Star has been in the same location for 15 years (longer than ALL of the other restaurants on this list). A place like that doesn't just stay around if it isn't the BEST. Try it out. Also look at the article written by Laura Cassar here on the Rochester Patch about Gold Star's breakfast. http://rochester.patch.com/articles/on-staycation-dining-out-like-its-vacation

I agree with Sam! Goldstar is the best, no if and or buts about it!

Paul's is the best. The food is very tasty and the service is attentive. The coffee is the best in town and they never stop refilling it! The dining room is spacious, light, clean and comfortable. Go eat at Paul's and vote for Paul's.

The election signs are always the wrong ones so I have never stop in!

Lisa--The fact that you are allowing your political ideology to impact the places you eat is pathetic. An attitude such as yours is the reason people in America have become so accustomed to supporting the franchises (ie McDonalds), rather than the great things available to you in your hometown. It is time for Americans to grow up and realize the things that matter--not elections and not what we each view--but helping the people we live with. Such comments as your make me embarrassed to call Rochester Hills my home. It is time for us all to grow up before we all take on a similar attitude. Rochester Hills is a great city because of the things that are here; once we all lose touch with our city, it may stop being so great. Let's all grow up and set our priorities straight.

The Hills uptown by Pappa Joes is great... Lavazza coffee is hard to beat, maybe Ella coffee tough choice as they both are premium blends.
