I attend Life Time Fitness and it is extremely clean. They offer a ton of group fitness classes with no extra charge and the pools are the best in the area.

Of course I will say Class Action Fitness, Inc. because I own it. We really do help our clients reach their health and fitness goals by providing one-on-one and small group personal training classes. We stick to what we know works, group classes are a max of 8 clients. Our trainers all have a 4 year degree or higher in Exercise Science. At CAF, Inc. you have a trainer with you at all times to help you workout at your maximum level without injuries. We specialize in functional fitness training. Classes are 75 minutes long. We encourage clients to be on time and do not allow cell phones and personal i-pods on the gym floor. We encourage all types of fitness from running, cycling, weights, sport specific training, yoga, core. We leave nothing out. Visit our web site at www.classactionfitnessinc.com. No long lines, no distractions, no waiting for equipment. No long term commitment, initiation fees or cancellation fees. We have clients who have been training with us for over 10 years, and some clients are close to 20 years. There is nothing like it in the area. Come and visit us.

Class Action Fitness, Inc. is my favorite fitness center. I have been training with Claire Ahearn for approximately 9 years now and am in my early 20s. Before CAF, it was easy for me to make excuses not to go to the gym. However, now I "want" to be at the gym because Claire wants me there too. The atmosphere of the gym is extraordinary as well. I know every time I go, I will get the best work out. I never feel like I am being judged by other clients We are there as a group for support, knowing that individuals will work at their own fitness levels. You truly get the effects of a personal trainer without the cost of one! Claire's moto is "Fit Happens." I most certainly agree that it does, but you have to be willing to let it. Being fit isn't just a look, it is an emotion and an ability (both of which I have gained through my training). Sure I was ecstatic when I lost 14 pounds in 3 months, but it is much more than that. I am looking good but feeling even better! I have the confidence in myself because CAF helps me reach my goals and keeps me reaching for more (inside and outside of the gym). My fitness level has increased tremendously. Now I am functionally fit for everyday activities and have enjoyed being able to partake in activities on my travels, especially being able to white water raft a 7m waterfall and climb a mountain and a volcano in New Zealand. A BIG THANKS TO CLASS ACTION FITNESS!

I go to Rochester Hills Choi Kwang Do for my workouts. Not only do I learn a martial art and have fun doing it, I also get a great workout in. Its great for family's as my son attended with me or for just blowing off some steam. The dojo also has a gym and a great community of people who help and cheer you on. If you are looking for something different or a lifestyle change I highly recommend RH CKD.

Class Action Fitness is my favorite workout facility. I used to belong to Lifetime Fitness before CAF but found I was not being challenged by the group workouts. At CAF, I am challenged in every class and held accountable by the trainers. I am working harder than I have ever worked out and now seeing changes in my body. I have lost weight, kept it off and gained muscle strength. I love Class Action Fitness!

Sola Life & Fitness without a doubt. I'm a former member of LifeTime and an area CrossFit gym where I paid around $100/month for classes. CrossFit is INCLUDED in my monthly charges at Sola and it's the cleanest and nicest place that I've ever worked out. Take advantage of the nutrition sessions and extras that are included in your membership and you'll go far.

I like the OPC as they have plenty of equipment and the pool and not too many people. The showers are clean and the people woring there are always in a good mood.

I was quite surprised that I did not see the Oakland University Recreation Center on your list of health and wellness facilities. Although it is on campus, memberships are open to the public as well as students and faculty. My husband and I have belonged there for about 12 years and found that the experience only gets better each year. The prices for memberships are competitive with other local gyms, and there are incentives and price cuts are certain times of year when you join or renew your membership. The parking garage is in a convenient location right next to the center. The highly-trained instructors offer a wide variety of classes at different times throughout the week that appeal to participants with a range of physical abilities. The gym includes a very large workout room with state-of-the-art equipment, an olympic-size swimming pool with a extra large hot tub, a high-tech running track, and regulation size gym for basketball. You can sign up for special programs such as triathalon training, weight loss, walking club, wellness management, personal trainers, etc. You can also reserve racquetball courts, get massage therapy, and meet a great staff of people there. You should check it out!

I started going to Burn Fitness a little over a year ago. I typically refuse to give new establishments a chance but boy am I glad I did. Not only did I meet my lofty weight loss goals, but I have enjoyed myself in the process. The staff is bursting with knowledge and ALWAYS willing to help. The bubbly girls at the front desk are always smiling and know your name, the speak even when you want to be grumpy. The facility is state of the art and clean, and most importantly they have some of the best customer service practices I have seen in a looooooong time. Give em a chance if you haven't already.

Burn Fitness! They just celebrated their 1 year anniversary. Busy but not too crowded. Everything is so clean. Just enough cardio machines, an abundance of freeweights, and top of the line equipment. The staff works hard and is friendly and welcoming. Affordable and in the neighborhood.

Burn Fitness! They have a great friendly cheerful staff that will greet you by name upon entering and exiting. The equipment is new and of a great quality. The gym is kept very very clean by the awesome staff. They have a large array of trainers available that cover all age groups and genders. The open hours are extensive. I can't believe you could find a better gym. Go to Burn Fitness!

I've been going to Burn Fitness for about a year now and it is hands down the best gym I've ever gone too. Everyone on staff knows your name and is incredibly easy to talk with and always willing to help. I have the opportunity to use the gym on the OU campus as well, which is free, but I prefer to stay at Burn because there is something very inviting about people knowing who you are and genuinely caring about how your day is going. The facility is great and everyone who is on staff or a member is very friendly.

Burn Fitness! The customer service is outstanding and as others mentioned, they always greet you by name and are extremely friendly. The equipment is new and top-notch and the gym is always very clean. The group exercise classes are fantastic and the instructors are very knowledgeable. We highly recommend Burn Fitness!

Burn Fitness, off Adams between Auburn and M-59. The equipment is top notch, the place always looks immaculately clean, but most valuable of all are the wonderful people who work there. When the staff really care about your health and your progress, and are some of the nicest people you'll ever meet, it really makes the whole gym experience that much better. I've joined half a dozen gyms over the years, and my memberships never last more than a few months at most before I quit. This is the first time I've really stuck with it, and I owe it to the great staff at Burn Fitness. It's been over a year now, and I'm loving every moment of it.

The Y on Walton just west of Squirrel. The Staff is outstanding. Very friendly atmostphere where everyone is greeted with a smile. The building is kept very clean. The pools are great. There is free Childcare that does change diapers and interacts with the children. They have great Trainers and offer Crossfit as well. They keep adding new classes with the latest techniques. Love this place! I have been going here for two years and have met many genuinely nice people who do not care what you wear, if you are wearing the lastest workout clothes. Everyone is there to be healthy and feel part of a community
