Vote for the Best of Everything in Troy

You nominated your favorites in more than a dozen categories; now it's time to cast your vote for the Troy Patch Readers' Choice 2012.

Troy has a lot to offer: Great parks, incredible dining options and an upscale shopping center, to name a few.

But what's the best?

Earlier this summer, we asked you to for Patch Readers' Choice 2012. For three weeks in June and July you told us about your favorite burger joints, your favorite pediatricians and the best place to take a martial arts class.

Now it's time to put those nominations to a vote.

Cast your vote by Aug. 17 and help us decide who's best. Whichever business gets the most votes will be named the Readers' Choice winner in that category. You must log in to Patch to vote; you may vote once in each category. The winners will be announced Aug. 24.

Happy voting!

If you encounter any problems voting on all the polls at once, as they are posted below, you can click on each category in this list to vote separately in each poll:

That would be difficult as I do not believe there are any in Troy.

I wasn't sure where to post this, but thought this would be a good spot. Does anyone know what's going up in the Kroger parking lot on Crooks/South Blvd? They have a corner of the parking lot blocked off, and there have been doing work on it the past two days.

I'm not 100% sure on this, Brian, but I believe they may be building the Kroger gas station that was approved several months ago. I will try to find out for sure, though!
