Waugh said Qdoba makes an effort to reach out to the local communities, often partnering with schools or organizations for events or deals.

In terms of deals, it has plenty to start with:

  • On Thursday, the first 100 students will receive a free entree from 3-7 p.m. All other Falcons will receive an entree and a drink for $5. In the coming weeks, the restaurant will feature similar deals for and students.
  • On Monday, the restaurant will hold a grand opening celebration, with half-off entrees all day.
  • For a limited time, the new location is offering $5 burritos after 5 p.m.

Waugh pointed out that the restaurant has many vegetarian and vegan options; even the beans are vegan. Qdoba is known for its fresh salsas and meats, as well as for letting patrons customize their burritos, tacos and quesadillas.

Qdoba on Walton is open from 10:30 a.m.-10 p.m. Sunday-Thursday and from 10:30 a.m.-11 p.m. Friday-Saturday.
