Ping's Has Best Chinese Takeout in Town, Patch Readers Say

The restaurant owner says "thanks" for voting her restaurant tops in Rochester Hills.

, a takeout restaurant with a long history in the community, has been named by readers of Rochester Patch.

Owner Jenny Wu opened the restaurant, on Auburn between John R. and Rochester roads, 20 years ago and had this to say when we told her about the readers' honor: "Thank-you! Thank-you! Thank-you!"

Ping's features a full menu of dinner and lunch combinations with chicken, beef and vegetables. A special "Family Dinner for Four" is $37.95 and includes four servings of Wonton Soup, four Egg Rolls, Almond Boneless Chicken, Beef With Broccoli, Sweet & Sour Pork, Cashew Shrimp, Chicken Fried Rice and, of course, fortune cookies.

Joann Cavataio of Rochester Hills orders takeout from Ping's at least once a week. She recommends the Almond Boneless Chicken, but she said everything she's ever tried at Ping's is great.

"It's fast, it's fresh and it's clean," Cavataio said. "We've always been very pleased."
