Here's another vote AGAINST Goodison. We heard great things about Goodison, so we went there when we adopted 2 cats. We made an appointment to get them checked out, but when we showed up they didn't have us scheduled. This happened on our second visit as well. That was frustrating enough, but nothing compared to what else happened. We had blood work done during the first visit, then brought one cat back to be neutered on another date. After the neutering, we were back for our third visit within the next week because the cat was horribly sick. It turns out he had a blood disease which was clear to the vet who saw him that third visit. That vet simply looked at the paperwork showing the blood work done during the first visit. Yet somehow it wasn't caught (or was ignored?) by another doctor prior to the neutering. That doctor went ahead with the neutering despite blood work that should have raised a major red flag. They never should have done the procedure. This cat was so sick we had to put him down. Had we not been so upset about losing our cat, we surely would have pursued this further. We took the passive route and never used them again, and couldn't believe the experiences we had there. Horrible, horrible experience. We've since moved on to the Oakland Animal Hospital for our other cat and have had great experiences there so far.

Dr. Monica and Dr. Duncan at Oakland Animal hospital! Dr. Duncan saved our kitty's life two years ago when he stopped eating for no apparent reason. It was very scary, but he helped us figure out the best course of action with testing and hospitalization while not completely bankrupting ourselves. Dr. Monica is also wonderful and has an amazing bond with the animals! Gooooo OAH!
