Junk in the Trunk Returns to Rochester on June 15

Registration deadline for community resale event is May 31.

Bargain hunters in the area might have good cause to be excited.

Rochester’s community resale event, Junk in the Trunk, is scheduled from 9 a.m.-1 p.m. on June 15 in the Farmers’ Market Upper Lot in downtown Rochester.

“This year, you won’t just find items for resale,” said Stephanie Hellebuyck, Rochester Downtown Development Authority Events Coordinator. “We’ve added handmade crafters to the list of those who can participate. Between area residents, downtown Rochester businesses and crafters, there is sure to be an array of resale, new and handmade products.”

Rochester businesses, area residents, and handmade crafters are welcome to sell at Junk in the Trunk. Parking spaces will be sold on a first-come, first-serve basis, with a two space maximum. The price for one space is $35, and two spaces is $50. Registration forms can be found online at www.downtownrochestermi.com/events/junk-in-the-trunk. Payment must accompany your registration form. All registrants will be responsible for additional needs such as tables, chairs, petty cash, etc. When choosing items for resale it’s important to think antique and vintage, not old and used.
