THE COMMUNITY FOUNDATION OF GREATER ROCHESTER'S WOMEN'S FUND HOSTS EVENT AT ROYAL PARK HOTEL

(ROCHESTER, MICH.) The Women's Fund is a permanently endowed fund owned and administered by the Community Foundation of Greater Rochester.  Founded in 2001 with $1,000 contributions from 100 Rochester area women, the Fund provides focused grant making to projects supporting women's health, domestic violence prevention, educational enrichment, college scholarships and senior services by utilizing only the earned income. The Women's Fund empowers women today and long into the future.

On Wednesday June 20, 2012 the Women’s Fund will be hold its 3rd annual CommUNITY lunch featuring guest speaker Lisa Ilitch Murray. Pastor Murray will share her journey from the corporate world that included the family businesses (Detroit Red Wings, Detroit Tigers, and Little Caesars Pizza) to follow her calling. Currently working at Clarkston’s Mt. Zion Church, her new role includes teaching, counseling, and working with outreach programs in Peru and El Salvador.

This Event will take place at the Royal Park Hotel. Doors open at 11 a.m., lunch will begin at 12 p.m., and the program will begin at 12:30 p.m. The cost for tickets is $50 and your payment is your reservation.
