Hepburn's Crepe and Coffee Shop Open at The Village

New cafe features crepes, both sweet and savory.

You're not just imagining that you smell fresh baked goodness in the air at The Village of Rochester Hills.

That's Hepburn's Crepe and Coffee, named for its owner's love of Breakfast at Tiffany's and all things Audrey Hepburn. It is now open behind in The Village.

Owner Deanna Birg said she considered this week a "soft opening" for the cafe, which is a version of one located on Van Dyke in Shelby Township. Hours in Rochester Hills are 10 a.m.-9 p.m. Monday-Saturday and noon-6 p.m. Sunday.

Hepburn's features crepes, coffee and other treats. Not unlike a northern Michigan fudge shop, the crepes are made in the window for passers-by to admire.

It is the second new restaurant to open at The Village this fall: in September. Next up: , in the spot recently vacated by Cosi. Chipotle should be open by the end of the year, according to Village management.
