What does your business offer? 

Custom designed wedding & special occasion cakes & cupcakes.

What's your most popular product or service? 

Children's cakes and more recently, wedding cakes.

What's a fact about your business that most customers probably don't know? 

I have a full-time job at an advertising firm in Rochester, and create my cakes out of my home.

When was the business founded?

How did your business come to be?  

I always had a passion for cake decorating and after having my children, discovered the joys of "theme" birthday parties.  Always one to go a little "over the top" for these events, my research let me to all the endless possibilities with the growing popularity of fondant.  I took a few classes and then taught myself from there.  Friends started asking me if I'd do cakes for their kids, then their moms, then their daughters weddings, and it took off from there.  The journey has been the creative outlet I needed as a single, working mom and I could (and sometimes do!), stay up all night creating my cakes!

Why did you choose the area you did? 

I live and work in Rochester Hills and can't think of another community I would rather be a part of.
