Aveda Salon Experience Comes to the Village of Rochester Hills

You've likely already sensed the telltale Aveda aromas coming from the new Douglas J Salon.

Inside the newest business to open at the Village of Rochester Hills, a sensory journey awaits.

That's because a cornerstone of the new Douglas J Salon at the Village will be the trademark scents of the Aveda products, which are available for purchase at the salon.

The 1,800-foot salon opened two weeks ago; it features six salon chairs and a full line of Aveda hair and skin care products.

"We loved the feel of Rochester Hills and we are excited about getting to know a newer demographic," she said.

Morin said the Aveda "experience" — which features a complimentary stress-relieving head, neck and shoulder massage, hand and arm massage and make-up finishing touch — sets the salon apart from others.

Womens' and mens' haircuts start at $48. Customized color starts at $67. Kids' haircuts are $26.
