Downtown Deals for Tonight's Girls' Night Out

It's from 5 to 9 p.m. in Rochester.

Girls: this downtown Rochester shopping night is all about you.

From 5 to 9 p.m. tonight, more than two dozen downtown merchants will offer special deal for women only in a Girls' Night Out event sponsored by the Rochester Downtown Development Authority. 

Free limo service is available to ladies who park at Buffalo Wild Wings.  Limos will drop-off and pick-up continuously at the corner of Main and W. Third, and Main and E. Fourth in downtown Rochester.  The last shuttle will depart downtown for Buffalo Wild Wings at 9 p.m.

Here's a list of the participating merchants and some of the deals they are offering:

  • Idealogy Inc. (111 W. Second, Suite A): Stop in for a yummy of Norcina (Italian sausage with creamy tomato based sauce tossed in pasta. Demonstration by Chef Tony from Lino’s at 7 p.m.
  • Fieldstone Winery: Half off wine slushies and 10% off wine bottles

  • Talulah Belle 20% off all Halloween items. Anything PINK in the store is 10% off.
  • Haig’s of Rochester Fine Jewelry: In recognition of Breast Cancer Awareness month we'll be featuring pink gems and ladies are encouraged to dress in pink that night.  All proceeds from purchases made the night of GNO will be donated to Crittenton Hospital’s Breast Care Center to assist local women and their health professionals in the care and treatment of breast cancer.The first 100 customers will receive a free pink tourmaline with a donation of $5 and above for Crittenton Hospital’s Breast Cancer Center. Donate $50 or more and receive a $50 gift certificate to Haig’s of Rochester for use at a later date.

  • Sole Sisters: The Satin Dolls will be performing this Girls’ Night Out. Stop in for selected sales and enter to win $100 gift certificate to Sole Sisters. Proceeds from the raffle sales will benefit the American Cancer Society.
  • Simply the Best $10 Boutique: Buy five items and receive the sixth item free! Simply the Best will also give away free light up crowns with PINK feathers. A Mary Kay consultant will also be on hand with free giveaways.
  • Penny Black: Stop in for $5 Pink Ribbon Martinis beginning at 5:00 pm. All regular martinis $5, $3 house wines, Selection of $5 appetizers and entertainment beginning at 8 p.m. ‐ Jen Kincer and Tony
  • Rojo Mexican Bistro: Enjoy happy hour specials all night ‐ $3 23-oz drafts, $4 jumbo margaritas & $5 appetizers

  • Whoo UR Upscale Resale for a Cause, Free derby hats with a splash of pink!          
  • Via Linda Salon & Spa: $10 eyebrow waxes, 20% off all hair products along with additional sales items. Stop in for some yummy treats!
  • Catching Fireflies: Catching Fireflies will be serving up pink sweet treats this Girls’ Night Out. Stop in for 25% off all jewelry and receive free swag when you purchase over $20.
  • Royal Park Hotel: Specials include 1/2 price appetizers, $4 champagne drinks, and $5 house wine.        
  • Sanders: Sanders Fine Chocolatiers will be rocking Girls' Night Out in Downtown Rochester with our own DJ who will assist daring divas in singing karaoke. In recognition of their vocal talents, those choosing to participate will receive complimentary Girls' Night paraphernalia. Additionally Sanders will have available for purchase our special "Pink Purse" line of chocolates from which a portion of the proceeds will go toward Breast Cancer Research and Awareness.
  • @ Home Furniture: Stop in for a discount card towards your next purchase and enter to win a gift card.
  • Firebrick Gallery & Pottery Studio: Six Michigan jewelry artists will be featured this Girls' Night Out. Leading glass lamp‐bead jewelry designer, Patricia Zabreski‐Venaleck has designed a special bracelet for breast cancer and will also have LOTS of pink beads for Pandora, troll or camilla bracelets. Also, stop in a check out Firebrick's collection of "pink" paintings that ladies may find inspirations and enter to win one of three prizes.
  • Sweet Island Yogurt: Stop in for a tasty treat. Sweet Island Yogurt will be giving away free PINK candles and breast cancer literature. Limited quantity of the candles.  
  • Aurum Design: Stop on in for light refreshments and a drawing for a custom sterling silver and rose gold Breast Cancer Awareness ring. Tickets will be sold for $3 each or 2 for $5. All proceeds made from the raffle will benefit the American Cancer Society.
  • Moon River Soap Company: Moon River will be giving out samples of our "Carotene Intensive Eye Creme Wrinkle Reducer." The ever popular "Glow" antioxidant rich face and eye emollient 50% off on Girls Night only; 5% of sales will benefit the American Cancer Society.
  • Rochester Mills Beer Co.: Enter to win Rochester Mill's Girls' Night Out Basket!

Make that 29 downtown deals: We've just learned the ReSale Connection will be offering all shoppers and visitors to the store Pink Jewelry, a necklace, bracelet and matching earrings.
