Rochester Hills Teen to Open for Country Singer Austin Webb

Rochester Hills teen Allie Shermetaro will rub shoulders with one of Nashville's bright talents Friday in Lansing when the young country singer opens for Austin Webb at Whiskey Barrel Saloon for WITL-FM 100.7's Christmas party.
The concert, which is open to attendees 21 and over, is Friday, Dec. 13, and features Webb in the headlining slot with Allie serving as opening act.
Shermetaro, a ninth-grader who is homeschooled but takes electives at Stoney Creek High School, has made a name for herself in the Metro Detroit music scene recently, having earned a gig at this year's Hoedown in Detroit and slots in various music festivals.
Whiskey Barrel Saloon is at 410 S. Clippert St., Lansing. For ticketing information, check the bar's website.
