Download the Laneway Detroit mobile app for updates, stage times.

Expect plenty of sun and mild temperatures Saturday at St. Jerome’s Laneway Festival Detroit when the doors open at 11 a.m.

The daylong North American debut of the boutique indie music festival made famous in Australia will feature an eclectic array of artists from all over the planet, playing five stages across the Meadow Brook grounds at Oakland University in Rochester Hills until 11 p.m.

The Laneway Festival Detroit app – with festival set times, a map and more – is now available in iTunes and Google Play (Android) stores.

The festival comes to Metro Detroit more than a year after Laneway founders Danny Rogers and Jerome Borazio first visited Detroit and decided the city was Laneway’s first American outpost nearly 10 years after the two started Laneway in Melbourne, Australia in 2004. The festival now spans eight cities and four countries (Australia, New Zealand, Singapore and the U.S.) and is known for showcasing the newest and most exciting indie music acts on the global festival circuit.

Away from the stages and lineup, Laneway Detroit will feature:
