Spring finally arrives with a country celebration at the Rochester Hills Museum at Van Hoosen Farm! Kids will love The Barnyard Express Farm show at 11 a.m. and 1 and 2 p.m. The even will also feature programs at the Stoney Creek Schoolhouse, Tiny Paws Rescue League and their baby rabbits, bee keeping demonstrations, kite making, tours of the Museum buildings, and activities in Stoney Creek Stream including fishing and netting, as well as in the Children’s garden with plants to take home.
Visitors will see all sorts of demonstrations including knitting, chair making, woodworking, rug hooking, and quilting. Demonstrators will show and share their talents in traditional crafts.
We're also told that a HUGE pioneer playground will be set up by the Friends of the Dinosaur Hill. Hay rides, too!
