Salute to Veterans: WWII

The Rochester Hills Museum at Van Hoosen Farm will be hosting a lecture series, A Salute to Veterans, on the first three Thursdays of November.  The lectures will be held in the Van Hoosen Dairy BarnMuseum members and students are free, non members $5, Seniors/Veterans $3.  Please call to register at 248.656.4663 or rhmuseum@rochesterhills.org.

In this second of three lectures about military veterans, Frank Cardimen will share insight into the Normandy invasion, including the deception plan Fortitude and the breaking of the German Enigma Code at Bletchley Park. Cardimen has studied and travelled extensively throughout Europe, interviewing veterans who were at Normandy. His multimedia presentation focuses on the successful events during one of the greatest invasion in military history.
