The Rochester Hills Museum at Van Hoosen Farm will be hosting a lecture series, A Salute to Veterans, on the first three Thursdays of November. The lectures will be held in the Van Hoosen Dairy Barn. Steve Mrozek will open the series on November 4 with a timely lecture about his12 months of service in Afghanistan. Mrozek will discuss the country's people and culture; and give insight about his mission to train, mentor and advise the Afghan police in the Logar Province. The presentation will also feature Mrozek's photographs and the equipment he used while overseas.
