Plaster & Parducci

Please join us for our annual Lunch & Learn; a fundraiser to support the preservation of Meadow Brook Hall.

Jennifer Baross is a board member of Preservation Wayne, Detroit's foremost preservation organization, and has been researching and lecturing on the work of Corrado Parducci since 2009. Sher is an accomplished photographer and designer who uses these talents to tell the story of Parducci, Detroit's premier architectural sculptor. Parducci was revered by many architects who wanted his work for their most exclusive projects - both in Detroit and nationally. He is responsible for designing and articulating the architectural motifs on nearly 400 buildings in the metropolitan area, including the renowned sculpted plaster ceiling in the Christopher Wren dining room of Meadow Brook Hall.

A box lunch will be served at 11:30 am, with the lecture commencing at noon. Tours of The Hall will also be available following the lecture.
