Opening Reception for ceramic artist, Rodney Lloyd

Rodney Lloyd applies sodium silicate onto his clay pieces to create these marvelous pots and pitchers. He then handcrafts the lids, reminiscent to ancient Japanese style of lotus flowers or hooks. His one of a kind ceramic vessels can be seen on display at Firebrick Gallery and Pottery Studio from June 5th to June 29th, 2012. 

Opening Reception is free and open to the public, runs from 6 to 9 pm. His pieces are available for sale.
