French-Canadian Heritage Society of Michigan Meeting

The next meeting of the French-Canadian Heritage Society of Michigan will be held Saturday, May 14, 2011 in the Basement Auditorium at the Mount Clemens Public Library, 150 Cass Avenue, Mount Clemens, Michigan. 

For this two-part meeting plan to go out for lunch or bring a lunch with you. 

10:30 A.M. – “All About Autosomal DNA Testing” What Can It Do For Me?

Through autosomal DNA testing, you can discover, among other things, the percentage of your ethnic heritage.  Find out if this type of testing will answer your genealogy questions, whether the tests are reliable, and how to use these tests most effectively.

1:00 P.M. – “Surprise” Revealing your DNA.  This custom session discusses the results of an individual who was tested through FamilyTreeDNA ahead of time and will reveal what has been learned.
