Featuring food, music and plenty of outdoor fun for the whole family, the ‘Fall Festival in the Woods’ will take place October 15, from 11 am – 3 pm at the E. Dale Fisk Hawk Woods Nature Center. In addition to hands-on nature activities and educational stations, the ‘Fall Festival in the Woods’ will present hay rides, a petting farm, a treasure hunt, live music by Blue Water Ramblers, and free cider and donuts. Pumpkins for carving will also be available on a first-come first-served basis for $4-$12 each. The E. Dale Fisk Hawk Woods Nature Center is located at 3799 Bald Mountain Rd. and offers year-round opportunities for outdoor recreational activities. Hiking on the trails, camping and educational classes await fall outdoor enthusiasts.
