This fun family musical comedy is the story of rock and roll singer Conrad Birdie, an Elvis Presley type, who, before joining the army, will bid one lucky teenage girl good-bye with an all-American kiss on national television. The lucky girl: Kim MacAfee of Sweet Apple, Ohio. Everyone in town is turned upside down including Hugo who has recently gotten "pinned" to Kim.
