Auburn Hills Annual Tree Lighting Ceremony

Join the Mayor, City Council members, and Santa & Mrs. Claus at Auburn Hills’ annual Tree Lighting ceremony Friday, December 2, as they light up the magnificent tree and nearby city streets with sparkling holiday charm. Festivities start at 6 pm at the MOMS’ World War II Memorial on the corner of Squirrel & Auburn in Downtown Auburn Hills. After, there will be visits with Santa, carriage rides, a bonfire with s’mores, ornament crafts to decorate the tree, holiday music and more. All activities are free and within walking distance of the tree lighting ceremony. Donations of new winter coats, mittens, hats and gloves will also be accepted at the City’s Downtown Office at 3395 Auburn Road, Suite A, from 6 – 8pm December 2 only. Items will be given to area charities for holiday giving. This event is sponsored by the City’s Tax Increment Finance Authority (TIFA) with additional support from Meijer and Bass Pro Shop.
