Who needs Disneyland? There's a new app that tells users where the happiest places are right in here in Rochester and Rochester Hills, sans the mouse ears, of course.

The free Jetpac City Guide mobile app offers "snappiness" ratings using Instagram photos to determine a city's top views, coffee houses, restaurants, bars, entertainment venues and more.

"We’ve analyzed every pixel of the world’s Instagram photos to give you the real picture of fun places. We can spot hipster mustaches, lipstick and the biggest smiles," says Jetpac in its app description.

According to Jetpac, the three happiest places in Rochester Hills are:

  1. Bar Louie
  2. The Hills Bar and Grille
  3. Clubhouse BFD
And the three happiest places in Rochester are:
  1. Mr. B's Food & Spirits
  2. Rochester Mills Beer Company
  3. Penny Black Grill & Tap
And the four places with the best view in Rochester are:
  1. Baypoint Beach at Stony Creek
  2. Paint Creek Trail
  3. Royal Park Hotel
  4. Main Street Billiards
