Rochester Hills Ranks Fourth for Michigan Job-Seekers
NerdWallet.com cites city's median income, low unemployment rate in high ranking.
Job-seekers in Rochester Hills have apparently come to the right place, according to a report on NerdWallet.com.
The consumer advocacy site ranked Rochester Hills fourth in Michigan as a destination for job-seekers.
The report cited the city's $79,009 median household income and 5 percent August unemployment rate as factors in its high ranking.
According to the report, "Major employers in Rochester Hills include Oakland University, Crittenton Hospital Medical Center and FANUC Robotics. Oakland University is located in Rochester Hills and provides its students and alumni with plenty of career services, such as information on the job search, interview practice and other job-related workshops."
