Rochester Hills Lions Club's Leader Dog Spring Carnival Returns for 36th Year

Carnival will take place May 2-12 in Kmart parking lot.

Walter Kulesza says the Rochester Hills Lions Club is "The little Lions Club that roars."

At just 16 members strong, the Rochester Hills group is among the top national chapter in fundraising for leader dog schools, thanks in part to its annual spring carnival, which returns May 2-12 at the Kmart parking lot at Avon and Rochester roads in Rochester Hills for its 36th year.

Proceeds from the carnival, which draws thousands of thrill-seekers each spring, will primarily benefit Leader Dogs for the Blind, also located in Rochester Hills. Kulesza said the group also benefits other eyesight-related charities.
