Photo of the Day: A Triple 100-Years-Old Birthday Celebration
It's not every day that three Rochester Hills residents celebrate 100 years.
On Oct. 17, Sanctuary at Bellbrook, an integrated senior living community, celebrated the incredible milestones of three residents.
Catherine Kerwin, Margaret Kaufman and Helen Griggs each have celebrated their 100 year birthdays this year. The community came together to recognize this achievement with lots of fun —cake, ice cream and entertainment.
When asked what her favorite part of the past 100 years has been, Margaret Kaufman said, "Being a gym teacher in the community and being one of the first residents to call Bellbrook home."
