Caption This, Rochester: A Candy House by a River's Edge

Over the Clinton River and through the woods — a gingerbread house floats ashore.

That's the scene that Rochester resident and spotted while exploring around town this week.

"So I was hiking around Bloomer Park looking at the remains of the Clinton/Kalamazoo Canal when I spotted a gingerbread house on a little island in the river," Gifford said. "Very odd indeed, so I had to snap a few pictures."

The bridge is for the southern trail that leads into Bloomer Park, Gifford said.
