RC Nursing to Hold Pinning Ceremony for Inaugural Class

Rochester College's School of Nursing will hold its first Pinning Ceremony for graduates of its inaugural class of 2014 on Thursday, April 24, at 7 p.m. in the RC Auditorium.

"Pinning ceremonies have been a tradition in nursing schools for more than 100 years," said Jaime Sinutko, director of the School of Nursing. "We are excited to celebrate with our graduates and with family and friends."

RC's bachelor’s degree in nursing is accredited by the Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education. The BSN in Nursing was approved by the Michigan Board of Nursing in 2011, and the nursing school accepted its first class into its three-year, 126-credit-hour program in September 2011. RC Nursing offers small class sizes and excellent student-faculty ratios.

Hors d'oeuvres and other refreshments will be served. Please RSVP by April 18 to Susan Griffin at sgriffin@rc.edu
