Crittenton Home Care Nursing Student Awarded Scholarship from Michigan Association for Home Care

The Michigan Association for Home Care, along with the Kitch, Drutchas, Wagner, Valitutti & Sherbrook Allied Health Scholarship, recently awarded Crittenton Home Care employee, Melissa Kuebler, its $2,000 Allied Health Scholarship in honor of her work and education in both the nursing and home care professions.

 

Kuebler is currently enrolled at Baker College where she will continue as a nursing student in the fall. Kuebler has worked at Crittenton Home Care for the past 3 years while beginning her college career and being accepted into nursing school. Her dedication to the medical profession continues to grow as she learns the many aspects of home care and nursing.

The Scholarship rewards students pursuing an allied health related degree who are currently working in home care. The Michigan Association for Home Care awards scholarships each year to Michigan students.

“This $2,000 award is designed to encourage valued and talented home care workers to continue their education and join the professional ranks of the skilled home care workforce, said Barry Cargill, Executive Director of the Michigan Association for Home Care.” 

 

 “The selection process was competitive and we believe Melissa will achieve her educational, personal, and professional goals”, said Cargill.
